Meet Owner and Founder Carol Jean Carroll

Welcome! I’m Carol, founder and owner of Everlasting Floral & Event Design, LLC. I initially started my floral business in 1992 as a young mother with a five year old son. During that time, I specialized in weddings and had the honor of designing for wedding venues such as Astors Beechwood Mansion, Rosecliff Mansion, Aldridge Mansion, Rehoboth Country Club, Inn at Castle Hill, Hammersmith Farm, and many other venues across Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts. I also had the opportunity to be chosen to design flowers to celebrate the anniversary of late President John F. Kennedy and Jaqueline Bouvier at the Hammersmith Farm in Newport, RI. whereby my designs graced the cover of The Providence Journal.
However, I suspended my love for flowers in order to give undivided attention to my son’s childhood. I made a shift and entered the educational field earning a B.A. and M.A. in English and Writing, a M.A. in Literacy and Reading, and a C.A.G.S. in Educational Leadership and have teaching and administrative experience. These degrees and experiences give me a strong framework for returning to my original business as leaders are visionaries executing direction and momentum.
Taking the Jump​

My parents and husband have always been avid believers in my creative ability and have been an amazing support system. Likewise, my brother, a successful and established entrepreneur, started a company over 20 years ago in Washington, DC., and has also been a prodigious supporter and an individual I deeply admire. He always inspired and encouraged me to take the jump. The pandemic allowed me to reflect, so I decided it was time to pivot and reignite my passion for flowers re-entering the wedding and event industry in 2021.
Each event, whether small or medium, requires direction, vision, and creativity. It is my intent to work closely with each client to implement personalization and align expectations bringing about everlasting, memorable events with a powerful floral impact.
